Music Institutions

A music institution can be defined as the organizations that own licenses to music and are often funders for music videos.

The three biggest music institutions are:
1.) The Universal Music Group
2.) Sony Music Entertainment
3.) Warner Music Group

These large corporations are also responsible for funding and producing music magazines, tv shows and albums. They own smaller subsidary organizations which may distribute music of specific genres.
